SERVICES

To have your clock inspected or repaired, we invite you to visit a Cartier boutique  or authorized Cartier dealer  of your choice. Do not forget to bring your guarantee certificate if your clock is under guarantee.

    • RAPID SERVICE

    • The rapid service is generally recommended for a battery change or a movement adjustment (if the movement is not damaged). To meet these needs, a watchmaker will perform a rapid service including:

      • Opening the case
      • For quartz clocks: Replacing the battery and controlling the functioning of the movement
      • For mechanical clocks: Controlling the functioning of the movement and adjusting the movement (if necessary)
      • Closing the case
      • Cleaning the case with a soft cloth
      • Final check

    • MAINTENANCE SERVICE

    • The maintenance service is generally recommended for changing specific pieces unrelated to the movement. To meet these needs, a watchmaker will perform a maintenance service including:

      • Diagnosis
      • Disassembling the clock
      • Replacing worn pieces: battery, crown, screw and other pieces unrelated to the movement
      • Adjusting the movement (if necessary)
      • Cleaning and shining the clock with a soft cloth
      • Reassembling the clock
      • Final check

    • COMPLETE SERVICE

    • The complete service is generally recommended for a clock that has not been serviced for approximately five years (the oil contained in a quartz or mechanical movement can dry out over time) or for a clock whose movement needs a complete overhaul after malfunctioning due to a shock.
To meet these needs, a watchmaker will perform a complete service including:

      • Diagnosis
      • Disassembling the clock
      • Replacing worn pieces: battery, crown and screw
      • Refurbishing the movement
      • Cleaning and shining the clock with a soft cloth
      • Reassembling the clock
      • Final check
