THE MOVEMENT, THE HEART OF YOUR WATCH

THE MOVEMENT, THE HEART OF YOUR WATCH

With its intricate mechanism, the movement of your watch needs to be cleaned at regular periods.
This is because, over time, the oils it contains dry out and may cause friction which will affect the accuracy of the mechanism.

A service carried out once every five years by a Cartier watchmaker will enable you to preserve the precision and reliability of your watch movement.
If your watch is noticeably fast or slow, the movement may need to be serviced before five years have elapsed, depublished on how often you wear it.
Even if you do not wear it regularly, a mechanical watch must be periodically wound up so that the workings of the movement are regularly oiled.
