The Rotonde de Cartier watch is a traditional interpretation of the 9422 MC perpetual calendar movement that partners creative designs such as the Tortue or the Calibre.The elegance of the Rotonde de Cartier case makes this a more classic approach, yet it shows real creative daring in its optimized displays that clearly stand apart from ordinary displays. It has the special characteristics of the perpetual calendars in the Cartier Fine Watchmaking Collection: the days of the week are indicated by a retrograde hand, the date is marked in large numbers around the dial and the month and leap year counter is at 12 o’clock.
Case in 18K rhodiumized white gold set with brilliant-cut diamonds, 18K white gold beaded crown set with diamond, sapphire crystal, white guilloché galvanic dial, openwork silvered grid sunburst motif with black transfer Roman numerals, Arab numerals, months and day of the week, snailed counters, blued-steel sword-shaped hands and blued-steel hammer-shaped hands. Black alligator-skin strap, double adjustable deployant buckle in 18K white gold. Water-resistant to 3 bar (30 meters/100 feet), mechanical manufacture movement with automatic winding, caliber 9422 MC, perpetual calendar with display of days by means of a retrograde hand and display of month and leap year in a counter at 12 o'clock, diameter of the movement: 32 mm, thickness of the movement: 5.88 mm, number of jewels: 33, number of parts: 293, balance: 28'800 vibrations/hours, power reserve: around 52 hours.
