The Rotonde de Cartier flying tourbillon offers a classic reinterpretation of the 9452 MC movement, specially produced to meet the criteria of the Geneva Seal. Complementing more contemporary designs such as the Calibre de Cartier or the Ballon Bleu de Cartier, this discreet, refined watch is the smallest in its category with its 40 mm diameter offering exceptional comfort on the wrist. A blend of of circles and curves, it has been carefully designed to give power to the watch without making it heavy and to underline its exceptional technical characteristics : the C-shaped tourbillon carriage appears to “fly” on the bridges as if weightless, above the dial.
Case in 18K rhodiumized white gold set with brilliant-cut diamonds, 18K white gold beaded crown set with a diamond, sapphire crystal, 18k rhodiumized white gold dial set with brilliant-cut diamonds, blued-steel sword-shaped hands. Black alligator-skin strap, double adjustable deployant buckle in 18K white gold. Water-resistant to 3 bar (30 meters/100 feet), mechanical Manufacture movement with manual winding, caliber 9452 MC, Geneva Seal certified, flying tourbillon with display of seconds via the C-shaped tourbillon carriage, diameter of the movement: 24.5 mm, thickness of the movement: 4.5 mm, number of jewels: 19, number of parts: 142, balance: 21'600 vibrations/hour, power of reserve: around 50 hours. Case dimensions: 40 mm diameter, 10.6 mm thickness.
