A masterpiece of the watchmaker’s art, the 9436 MC mechanical movement with manual winding displays stunning technical characteristics. It combines a tourbillon, perpetual calendar and single push-piece chronograph with an 8-day power reserve and skeleton finish. The magnificent skeletonizing operation enhances the watch and reveals all the beauty of the movement and its parts: the tourbillon, visible from both directions, and the column wheel, which regulates the chronograph functions. These components are shown to best advantage by their decoration, which represents nearly 200 hours of work for each movement. An example is the C-shaped mirror-polished tourbillon bridge, which elegantly reaffirms the watchmaking expertise of the Cartier Manufacture.
