Pioneering designer Louis Cartier created the Tortue watch, a tortoise-inspired shape, in 1912. At a time when all watches were round, the groundbreaking design went on to become a classic. 18K white gold case and bracelet, both set with round-cut diamonds, 18K white gold octagonal crown decorated with a diamond, sapphire crystal, silvered sunray effect dial, roman numerals, sword-shaped blue steel hands, mechanical movement with manual winding, calibre 430 MC, transparent back, water resistant to 30 metres / 100 feet. Case dimension: 34x28 mm, 7.6 mm thickness.
