MINAMI AOYAMA

TOKYO

Opened in 2005, the Cartier Minami-Aoyama boutique combines the vision and audacity that is the essence of Cartier with the versatile allure acquired during the Maison’s 160-year history.

Minami-Aoyama has long been a “mecca” for those involved in creative work, and it has become transformed into an area with its own unique culture brimming with sophistication and inspiration.

The façade of the boutique, which has no show windows, truly gives the impression of a diamond radiating light through the sheen of its interior second skin. Passing through the entrance, which opens onto the first floor, one enters a space reminiscent of an elegant gallery. The sales floor stretches across the basement level, drawing in visitors via the delicate salmon-pink grand staircase. A dome-shaped display is situated at the staircase’s centre, heightening the sense of expectation in the hearts of visitors as they descend step by step and their expectations grow. Unique to the Minami-Aoyama boutique, the walls house large display cases where an abundant variety of theme displays are mounted. It is the perfect space for presenting Cartier.

Going beyond the walls of the boutique, the encounters and communication with the customers who gather in this area will add yet another side to the multi-faceted jewel that is Cartier.
