A VISION OF HERITAGE

PUBLICATIONS

In the world of publishing, Cartier has contributed to both general and specialist works dedicated to the history of jewelry and watchmaking. In addition to exhibition catalogues, Cartier has taken part in the production of monographs for La Collection Cartier, published by Flammarion. In this three-part series, the first volume, La Joaillerie, appeared in 2004, the second, L’Horlogerie, in 2006 and the third, dedicated to objects and accessories, will be released in 2011.

An entirely revised and improved edition of the “Cartier” monograph written by Hans Nadelhoffer in 1984 is now available, published by Thames & Hudson (English) and Editions du Regard (French).

With 160 years of success behind it, Cartier is aware of the value of the path it has forged and of the importance of its role. It has therefore taken on the mission of preserving and conveying its heritage with an open vision, in its more general role as a major contributor to the arts and cultural heritage.
