In order to celebrate the Maison's 150 years, this exhibition (225 pieces and 70 creative designs), first held in New York, then in London, shed new light on a precise period in Cartier's history, beginning in 1900 - when the Maison's distinct style becomes clearly identifiable up to the end of the 1930s, which marked an uncompromising stylistic turning point, characterising the beginning of a new aesthetic.
