Creation of the Paris Nouvelle Vague Cartier jewellery collection, inspired by Paris.

"The Art of Cartier, A splendor of Time" retrospective was held at the Museo del Palacio de Bellas Artes in Mexico City with guest of honour the Mexican actress María Félix.

The "Cartier 1900-1939" exhibition moved to the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago.
