Leather Goods

For the repair or service of Cartier leather goods, invite you to visit the Cartier boutique of your choice, making sure to bring the guarantee certificate of your product. You can also contact Cartier Client Relations to speak with an Ambassador.

Once you have entrusted your item to us, our workshop will examine it, define the type of service that needs to be carried out, and send you an estimate for the repair.

Cartier belts are sold in one standard size, and may be adjusted by trimming the leather. To have your leather Cartier belt cut to size, we recommend visiting your closest Cartier boutique. If you are unable to visit a Cartier boutique, you may be able to cut the belt yourself with these steps:

  1. Locate and lift the opening of the buckle where the "Cartier" inscription is.
  2. Pull the belt strap out of the buckle.
  3. Using sharp shears, trim the leather from the end that was in the buckle; this will preserve the shape of the belt's shaped front end.
  4. Once the strap length has been readjusted, put the strap in again. Pull the lock to close and secure the buckle.

Alternatively, if you do not wish to cut the belt yourself, you may also visit your preferred cobbler or other leather expert to cut the belt.
