As part of this collaboration, the Venice International Film Festival and Cartier pay tribute to exceptional filmmakers through the Cartier Glory to the Filmmaker Award, awarded to a personality who has made an original contribution to the contemporary film industry.

CARTIER ON THE SILVER SCREEN

Between Cartier and the cinema there is a strong, creative and emotional connection: that of a jeweler whose destiny has intertwined with that of the silver screen since the early 20th century. Directors from Jean Cocteau to Alfred Hitchcock, George Cukor and Alain Resnais have included Cartier in their credits.
