The cut of the diamonds on the necklace reflects the Maison's interest in original gems. Besides their intrinsic quality, it is their charm and personality that fascinate Cartier. This necklace is the result of manipulating light, which combines a reflection on transparency as well as volume. The diamonds are set in slightly inclined mounts, all entirely different. Light is diffused according to their position and these variations maximise its sparkling reflections, as does the interplay of voids that make up this aerial framework.
