TIARA, 1910
CARTIER COLLECTION
At the turn of the 20th century, Cartier generalised the use of platinum in jewellery. More resistant than gold, it allows for very fine frames, with light and discreet settings. Stainless, it gives these jewellery pieces an incomparable sparkle and allows them to play with light. On this tiara, the repetition and symmetry of the 'scroll' motifs highlight the cushion-shaped diamond at the top.
