Orders & payment
We are currently experiencing challenges with the delivery of our orders to the United Kingdom, as we have seen some instances where our clients are mistakenly being contacted by our courier partners to pay customs duties on their order. You may have already experienced this with your order, or it may happen to a delivery you are expecting.
Please be advised on the following:
- If you have not yet received your order and are contacted by the courier about the payment of customs duties, please contact us at (+44) 20 3147 4850. Cartier has already paid these duties for you and will contact DHL/UPS to inform them about this payment. DHL/UPS will then deliver your order two to four days later without extra charges.
- Should you have a specific time constraint regarding the delivery of your order, you can also pay the duties and accept your order. Once you have received your desired Cartier creation, please contact us on (+44) 20 3147 4850 so we may initiate the refund process. Please note that it will take 3-4 weeks for us to make the refund.
When purchasing from cartier.com or thought our Ambassadors at the Client Relation Centre, your order will be shipped from the EU. However, duties and extra cost associated will be paid by Cartier. If you still wish to order and be shipped from the UK, we would like to redirect you to order with one of our London boutiques, more information here.
Unfortunately, we currently experience a slight delay for any orders placed directly on the website or through our Ambassadors at the Client Relations Centre. Your order may experience 3-6 working days delay.
We are currently not able to ship products which required a CITES certificate. CITES certificates are needed to import protected products by CITES (the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora) which is an international agreement between governments. Its aim is to ensure that international trade in specimens of wild animals and plants does not threaten their survival. Products which require a CITES certificate are still available on the website for browsing. Should you be interested in purchasing one of these products, please contact one of our London boutiques. You may also contact an Ambassador who can advise on availability in our London boutiques.
We accept payment by the most common credit cards (America Express, Visa, Mastercard, and China Union Pay). You may also choose to pay by bank transfer (from 200 GBP) or Paypal.

Please note that you must create a My Cartier account in order to be able to check the status of your online order. If you choose to perform a Guest Checkout, kindly note that you will have to Contact Us to know the status of your order.
Regarding the shipment, after confirmation of your order, your local carrier (UPS or DHL) will reach out to you to provide an estimated delivery date. You will then receive a tracking number allowing you to follow the shipment of your order on the carrier's website.
Should you wish to cancel or change your order please Contact Us as soon as possible to ascertain if this is possible. We will make every effort to satisfy your request, but cannot guarantee your order may be modified once it has been submitted. Orders that have already been processed may not be cancelled or modified; you may return your item subject to Cartier's Online Return Policy.
