VENICE INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

As official partner of the Venice International Film Festival, Cartier has been associated with the Venice Biennale since 2021 and contributes to the support of contemporary cinematic creation.

Since the early 20th century, Cartier's destiny has been intertwined with that of the silver screen. Rudolph Valentino, Gloria Swanson, Audrey Hepburn, Romy Schneider and María Félix: all paired the brilliance of their talent with the allure of Cartier creations, which shine brightly in the darkness of cinema theatres - as in the secrecy of the Maison’s iconic red box.

For the third consecutive year, Cartier continues its series of masterclasses, “The Art and Craft of Cinema”, which puts the spotlight on the diversity of talent in cinema: not only the people we see onscreen, but also those who work behind the scenes.

Co-organised with the Venice Biennale, these masterclasses invite leading figures from various disciplines of filmmaking and showcase the entire collaborative creative process behind the realisation of a director’s vision.
