Choosing the size of sunglasses or optical glasses
There are two ways to choose the size of your optical glasses or sunglasses, either by checking the size of another pair of glasses or by measuring another pair of glasses.
Please note that optical glasses are considered a medical device; lenses must be fitted and removed by a qualified optician.
Checking the size of another pair of glasses
Find a comfortable pair of glasses that fit correctly. Check the inside of the arm: the sizes of the lenses, arms and bridges (the part linking the two lenses) are usually indicated here. Make a note of these measurements. Order your glasses in a size as close as possible to these measurements.
Measuring a pair of glasses
Use a measuring tape to take three measurements:
- lens size,
- bridge size,
- length of arm.
Make a note of these measurements. Order your glasses in a size as close as possible to these measurements.
