Cartier has created a headband with a subtle and understated design with this set of 32 Zambian emeralds totalling 17.15 carats. A stylised outline traces the contours of each stone in a repeating pattern of hexagons, alternating between calibré- and brilliant-cut diamonds. An exquisitely delicate piece that lives up to the design challenge of crafting a fully articulated piece that is supple and modular. The headband can be transformed into a bracelet, becoming a jewellery piece for the hand, to be worn on its own or decorated with a removable pendant and accompanied by a ring. The pieces can be linked together like in traditional Indian jewellery.
