Inspired by India, whose influence is more alive than ever for the Maison, with a passion for combining volumes, colors and shapes.

HISTORIC PIECES

TUTTI FRUTTI BRACELET, 1925

From the 1920s, precious carved gems were combined in rich compositions. Until then, they were individually set and known as ‘foliage’ in the Maison’s archives. This piece mounted on platinum features diamonds, sapphires, emeralds and rubies in the form of leaves or berries, punctuated with onyx and black enamel.

CARTIER COLLECTION

This necklace, made by Cartier upon the request of Daisy Fellowes in 1936 and modified in 1963, symbolizes the radiant beauty of Tutti Frutti. Composed of ancient stones brought by its owner, its design pays tribute to traditional Indian jewelry, initially with a string at the back rather than a clasp.

RAJASTHAN NECKLACE, 2016

Composed of a row of emerald beads from Afghanistan totaling 343.68 carats, this spectacular necklace unfolds into a multitude of rubies, sapphires and emeralds enhanced by diamonds. In the center stone, an emerald from Colombia totaling 136.97 carats reveals floral motifs likely carved in the famous workshops in Jaipur, India. 

MAHARAJAH NECKLACE 2020

A 43.73-carat hexagonal-shaped emerald and two 86.96-carat emeralds sourced from Colombian mines set the tone. In addition to this, there is a "cluster” shape pendant, extremely rare in High Jewelry and composed of 19 gems. A daring construction with incredible thoroughness that has been designed to be worn in up to 8 different ways. Dazzling for the eyes as well as for the mind.

Une émeraude hexagonale de 43,73 carats et deux autres pour 86,96 carats originaires des mines de Colombie donnent le ton. S’y ajoute un pendant à la forme de « grappe », rarissime en Haute Joaillerie et composé de 19 gemmes. Une construction audacieuse conçue avec une extrême rigueur qui propose jusqu’à 8 portés différents. Un éblouissement pour les yeux autant que pour l’esprit.
