Transfiguration
An automatic skeleton movement is integrated into the Santos-Dumont watch case without changing the proportions. Its oscillating weight is adorned with a miniature replica of the Demoiselle, a precursor aircraft designed by aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont in 1907.

Paring back the line of the Tank Française watch so that the case and the bracelet become one: this was the watchmaking challenge presented to the design studios and the Manufacture.
MASSE MYSTÉRIEUSE
To push back the limits of gravity, Cartier has combined two of its watchmaking signatures within the Masse Mystérieuse: the skeleton and the mysterious movement that has been turning hands in the empty space of the dial since 1912.
CUSHION
