What Makes A Cartier Diamond
At Cartier every diamond above 0.18 carats* is issued with a report from the Gemmological Institute of America (GIA), an authority in the certification of diamonds.
This report is a guarantee of quality and assesses diamonds according to the 4Cs criteria: Cut, Colour, Clarity and Carat.
Added to these markers is the Cartier difference: a question of the eye, of the the Maison's expertise that knows how to spot singularity, charm, and the absolute beauty of a Cartier diamond.
Cartier is committed to not using diamonds that could finance conficlits, most notably through certification by the Kimberley Process and the System of Warranties since 2003.
*With the exception of Fancy Cut diamonds and diamonds from the Essential Lines collection, which are certified above 0.50 carats.
