Cartier is an ethical Maison committed to tackling contemporary issues and is at the heart of a network whose vocation is to help build a better world, together with all its communities. This is beauty at the service of goodness.

The Cartier Women’s Initiative is an international programme that has been supporting and rewarding highly influential women entrepreneurs in nine regions around the world every year since 2006: Latin America and the Caribbean, North America, Europe, French-speaking Sub-Saharan Africa, English- and Portuguese-speaking Africa, the Middle East and North Africa, East Asia, South and Central Asia, and Oceania.

Women's Pavilion

In continuation of the Women’s Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, Cartier partners with the Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition to present the Women’s Pavilion for the upcoming Expo 2025, Osaka, Kansai, Japan. Carrying the same ambition, this Pavilion will shed light on women’s contribution to society, driven by the conviction that full and equal participation of women in all fields is essential to building a more equitable world.

Cartier Philanthropy

Cartier Philanthropy’s mission is to help release everyone’s potential, improving the lives of vulnerable communities worldwide.

Initiated by Cartier in the Spring of 2019, first in France, Italy and the UK and then in Asia, RED CLUB x Cartier is a community of young international entrepreneurs who want to have a positive impact on society through their businesses.

In 2021 Cartier joined the Unstereotype Alliance, an initiative led by companies invited by UN Women. Advertisers, industry leaders and designers have come together with the aim of ending toxic stereotyping in advertisements.

In 2021, Cartier joined the Generation Equality Forum, a platform of actions and commitments initiated by UN Women that calls on all sectors of society to work towards greater equality.

In 2019 Cartier signed the Women's Empowerment Principles, a set of recommendations to guide and advise companies on how to promote gender equality and women's empowerment in the workplace and in the communities in which they operate.
