The water resistance of your Water Resistant-certified watch is guaranteed by a set of seals that undergo natural degradation due to ageing. We recommend that you have its water resistance checked regularly by our master watchmakers. This check will be offered by the Maison.
Before allowing your watch to come into contact with water, please read and comply with the water resistance information found on the back of your watch. Make sure that the crown of your watch is returned to its original position to ensure its water resistance.
Avoid wearing your watch in places where the atmosphere is very hot (sauna, hammam, etc.).
When your watch is underwater, do not use its functions (manual winding, hour changes, chronograph). After swimming, be sure to rinse your water-resistant watch in clear water to neutralise the harmful effects of seawater or chlorine.
Avoid bringing your leather strap into contact with water or other liquids, as this can accelerate wear.
