At Cartier, every diamond above 0.18 carats* comes with a report from the Gemmological Institute of America (GIA), a diamond certification authority.

This report is a guarantee of quality and assesses diamonds according to the criteria of the 4Cs: Cut, Colour, Clarity and Carat.

Added to these markers is the Cartier difference: a question of the eye, of the Maison's expertise in knowing how to spot singularity, charm, and the absolute beauty of a Cartier diamond.

Cartier is committed to using only diamonds that do not finance conflicts, most notably through certification by the Kimberley Process and the System of Warranties since 2003.

*With the exception of Fancy Cut diamonds and diamonds from the Essential Lines collection, which are certified above 0.50 carats.
