Care & Repair

Please consult our Repair Services section for more detailed pricing information for services to care for, adjust and repair your Cartier creations.

You are welcome to visit a Cartier boutique or Authorized Retailer to service your creation. Although not required, booking an appointment is strongly recommended to optimize your experience and discover the Cartier universe. Please note that some boutiques may have walk-in only policies for occasions such as service or care visits.

If an in-person visit is not convenient, you are also welcome contact Cartier Client Relations for more information on how to ship your item to our workshop for repair.

Whether personalizing a creation with engraving, maintaining your timepiece, or ensuring your jewelry fits perfectly, we are delighted to care for and repair your Cartier creation. Please consult our Repair Services section to discover all the services Cartier offers.

An insurance valuation is a detailed document that provides an estimated insurance value of a creation; please note that this is not an appraisal or an authentication, as Cartier does not provide those services. Insurance Valuations are for insurance purposes only and will only detail the current retail price of your creation.

Insurance Valuations are complimentary within one year of purchase. Proof of purchase from Cartier or its Authorized Retailers will be required, as Cartier does not issue Insurance Valuations for purchases made via third parties. Insurance valuations are available for original owners, gift recipients, or direct descendants only.

In-Person Purchases: Clients who have made a purchase at a Cartier boutique or one of our authorized retail partners may visit a Cartier boutique for their Insurance Valuation. Clients who have made an online or phone purchase may also complete an insurance valuation in-boutique after 90 days from the date of purchase.

Online or Phone Purchases: Purchases completed online or via phone may request their Insurance Valuation between 30 and 90 days after purchase via Cartier Client Relations. After that timeframe, all Insurance Valuations must be completed in-person at a Cartier boutique.

If you suspect a counterfeit creation or website, we invite you to contact Cartier Client Relations and provide us with all information pertaining to your suspicion.

You can be assured of authenticity by purchasing Cartier models from a Cartier boutique or authorized dealer; however, we are unable to provide information or authentication for items acquired outside of Cartier boutiques or authorized retailers.
