The audacity of a style
The audacity of a style
From the sketch of a design to the amplification of volumes, from lines to geometry, from realism to abstraction, from contrasts to unprecedented combinations of materials... Both unique and diverse, Cartier's style is recognizable to all.
L'Odyssée de Cartier: a style in images
Through the various chapters of L'Odyssée de Cartier, the Maison takes a look at its creative universe. This succession of short films is daring, with eyewitness accounts and archive documents, taking the viewer’s senses and imagination on a journey.
An original jeweler's vocabulary
The Cartier style relies on an original vocabulary such as the three colors of gold, the screw, the bead, and the stud... Aesthetic signatures inscribed in the Maison’s heritage that are constantly being reinvented.
Square clou
A Cartier icon since the 1920s, the clou carré is the subject of a dedicated collection almost a century later with Clash de Cartier, where it works together with studs and beads to make up a unique ribbed mesh.
Screw
Enhanced by fine materials, at Cartier the screw reveals its aesthetic strength as much as its symbolic dimension.
Three types of gold
Yellow, rose and white gold: an iconic combination for the Maison, in particular illustrated with the Trinity ring, created by Cartier in 1924.
Bead
Smooth or melon-cut, alone or clustered, the bead amplifies volume and plays with mobility.
