The following Cartier Eyewear Limited Warranty applies to frames sold or presented for warranty repair service in the United States of America and Canada only.
Your frame is warranted against any manufacturing defect for a period of twenty-four (24) months from the date of purchase (hereafter the “Warranty Period”) at the following conditions. If your frame is returned during the Warranty Period, any defect confirmed by Grantor’s Technical Services as a manufacturing defect will be, at Grantor’s sole discretion, either replaced or repaired free of charge, subject to the exclusions mentioned below. Upon expiration of the Warranty Period, any repairs will be subject to a service charge.
Your Cartier Eyewear Limited Warranty does not cover:
defects and damages due to accidents, mishandling or improper use (for example, knocks, dents, breakage of the frame, etc.), unauthorized alteration, manipulation, services or repairs carried out by anyone other than a Cartier boutique or Cartier Eyewear authorized dealer or service center,
the lenses.

Except to the extent prohibited by applicable law, this Cartier Eyewear limited warranty is a limited warranty and represents the exclusive manufacturer’s warranty in lieu of any other express warranties. Neither this limited warranty nor any other warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to any implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, shall extend beyond the period of twenty-four (24) months from the date of purchase. For a period of twenty-four (24) months from the date of purchase, grantor will, at its sole discretion, either replace or repair any defect amounting to a manufacturing defect, free of charge under this Cartier Eyewear limited warranty. This warranty is the sole and exclusive remedy. Grantor shall not be liable, either under this limited warranty or otherwise, for any loss or damages arising out of the use or inability to use your frame, or for any incidental or consequential damages relating in any way to your frame.
Grantor does not authorize any Cartier boutique, any Cartier Eyewear authorized dealer or any other third party to issue any warranties beyond this Limited Warranty, or otherwise to assume any obligation or liability on its behalf in connection with the sale of its products. Some states, provinces or territories do not admit limitations to the period of validity of implied warranties or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusions may not apply to you.
In order to benefit from this Cartier Eyewear limited warranty, you will be required to present your Cartier Eyewear warranty certificate to a Cartier boutique or to a Cartier Eyewear authorized dealer, duly completed, dated, stamped and signed by a Cartier boutique or a Cartier Eyewear authorized dealer. Please be sure to retain this certificate. Should you fail to comply with any of these conditions, you will not be able to exercise your warranty rights.
Only Cartier boutiques and Cartier Eyewear authorized dealers may provide warranty services as defined herein.
